Summer CSA
-
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. It’s a model that allows community members to support their local farms at a time when on-farm cash flow is low. Members purchase a CSA in the winter months, reserving many weeks of vegetables for the spring, summer, and fall.

A CSA is right for you if:
You eat a lot of vegetables
You want to eat a lot of vegetables
Local agriculture is important to you
You love to cook
You want to learn how to cook
You’re not afraid to try new things
You’re willing to fit CSA pick ups into your schedule
You just want to eat a lot of food that tastes really good and makes you happy!
The Open Woods CSA
The CSA is divided into two seasons: early spring and summer. Sign up for one season or both! You’ll have as much choice over what you receive in your weekly share as possible, but because the spring share is so special, space and vegetable choice are limited.
Each week in addition to your share of organic vegetables, you’ll receive a reminder email with farm updates, relevant recipes, and the pick list. Your customized share will be packed for you and ready to grab at pick up.
Pick up Days and Locations
Spring CSA: pick up Tuesdays from 3-6 at Mascoma Community Health Center in Canaan, NH.
Summer CSA: pick up Sundays from 10-2 at the Canaan Farmers’ Market on the town common in Canaan, NH.
